In the negotiation of wage increase for workers in the minimum wage, the trade union's demands for higher pay rise again made the negotiations deadlocked.

Trade unions and management held a second round of pay talks in the morning of September 14th, and the trade union suddenly announced that it would raise the demand for higher pay by $1 to $180.60 from the previous request of $179.60.

The management agreed only to pay 3% to $144.20.

Since the two sides are unable to reach a consensus on the pay scale, the two sides will hold the third round of negotiations in September 26th, when the representatives of the labour department will participate.
