It did not happen in the dense area of textile machinery manufacturing. Many Japanese textile machinery manufacturers also issued a statement that the production of enterprises was not affected by the earthquake at the first time of the earthquake. However, as time went on, many textile enterprises in China felt the impact of the earthquake on their normal production. The directors of these enterprises had to face the fact that the time of ordering their equipment was extended indefinitely.

"According to the situation in the customs area, some textile and garment enterprises in Shishi and Jinjiang areas in Fujian were booked by Japan's strong earthquake.

Imported

The equipment will be delayed indefinitely. "

Fujian Shishi customs officers said, "because Japanese TOYOTA and Tsuda Ko looms are well received by domestic textile manufacturers, it is necessary to make reservations about six months in advance if they want to get the spot textile enterprises in time.

A textile enterprise in Shishi Guan District received the first batch of 200 looms ordered in September last year, and the second batch ordered 300 units, and 60 units were still missing.

Due to the impact of Japan's earthquake and tsunami, the imported water jet loom was delayed by the Japanese side. The original plan for the 600 shipment of the third batch of goods was also stranded, and the expansion plan had to be suspended.

It is understood that since the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, many import enterprises in Shishi district have temporarily lost contact with Japan, and some textile and garment enterprises have not been given a clear answer if they want to consult the contract effectively.

Compared with textile enterprises, Shishi, Jinjiang and Quanzhou sewing machinery and equipment traders who are mainly engaged in importing and selling Japanese sewing machinery and equipment are facing greater uncertainties.

Many of the city's sewing equipment salesmen said that Japan's earthquake and tsunami had no effect on the import of sewing equipment in the short term, but the future is full of variables.

Operators generally believe that in the next 2~3 months or half a year, the sewing machinery industry will be faced with a shortage of spare parts.

Because many parts manufacturers in this industry, especially the manufacturers of core components such as computer chips, are in the worst hit area, the fear of spare parts will soon become a reality.

After waiting and waiting for a short period of time, the sewing machinery and equipment trade merchants began to prepare and actively seek countermeasures. Many sewing machinery enterprises have begun to look for alternative products in China and South Korea.
