Dojev, Deputy Consul General of Australia in Guangzhou, said that the trade between China and Australia has been concentrated in the field of energy and resources, but now there has been a trend of diversification. This will be reflected in the current China Expo.

The Australian ambassador to China, Dr. Rui Jie Rui, said at the Australian National Pavilion that the China Expo is the largest SME exposition in the world, providing an opportunity for Australian SMEs to show their strength.

The Australian government cherished the opportunity to jointly host the China Expo. We hope to continue to work together with the Guangdong provincial government to develop mutually beneficial relations.

Currently, China has become Australia's largest trading partner with a bilateral trade volume of 86 billion Australian dollars and is expected to exceed 100 billion Australian dollars at the end of 2010, of which Australia's exports to China amounted to 46 billion Australian dollars, up 17% from last year, he pointed out.

More than 4500 Australian companies are active in the Chinese market, many of which are small and medium-sized enterprises.

It is reported that more than 300 small and medium enterprises and institutions will display products and services in 5 main areas of Australia: Food and beverage, financial and business services, corporate training and education, clean technology and green building, creative and consumer products.

A large number of small and medium enterprises and institutions in Australia participate in the Expo. The exhibition area is two times the size of the World Expo Pavilion. This fully reflects the strong interest of Australian small and medium enterprises in the Chinese market. This is also the largest scale for Australian enterprises to attend overseas exhibitions.

It is reported that during the same period of the same period, the Australian Trade Commission will arrange at least 5 Commercial docking talks for every Australian enterprise, and hold a number of forums and seminars to build an unprecedented platform for Sino Australian SME Cooperation and deepen and diversify the cooperative relationship between China and Australia.
