French Fashion Master Christian Lacroix Quietly Revived (Chart)

The French Ministry of Culture said in June 8th that the brand holders had explicitly promised to donate 11 fashions to the National Museum of decorative arts.

The Ministry of Culture said that the 3000 fashions designed from the establishment of the brand in 1987 to the end of 2009 will be loaned to museum exhibitions when necessary.

In a statement, the official said, "culture minister Frederic Mitterrand is pleased that these French high fashion heritage has been preserved and enriched to the national collection."

When asked to confirm the statement, Nicolas Topiol, chief executive of Christian Lacroix, told Agence France-Presse that the company had "agreed to rent fashion, as long as it received relevant requests".

These 3000 fashions are now stored in warehouses, which are equipped with various specialized equipment to ensure that these unique fashions are protected from being damaged or avoided.

Almost all employees were dismissed last year, and the main fashion design business was completely halted. A French court approved a substantial reduction in its brand in December.

Fashion designer Lacroix also lost his company.

The bankruptcy court of Paris has approved the restructuring plan of the famous brand of high fashion and clothing fashion production, leaving only 11 employees to manage the authorized business of other products, including men's wear, wedding dresses and perfume.
